"Whenever a Lions club gets together, problems get smaller. And communities get better. That's because we help where help is needed - in our own communities and around the world - with unmatched integrity and energy.

Our 45,000 clubs and 1.35 million members make us the world's largest service club organization (source: Lions Clubs International)."

The Bruderheim Lions Club has a long and colourful history in our community. Originally formed in 1954, the group shut down for a period of time and reunited in 1972.  For the nearly forty years since, the group's support has impacted numerous individuals, groups and projects. For example, the Lions made a generous contribution of $55,000 to the outdoor rink constructed in 2010, puts money towards the ball diamond at the Ag Grounds, and financially supports the Seniors Club, Minor Sports, Fire Department, the library, as well as others.

The group is currently looking for new members to add a fresh perspective and bring new ideas on how to help the community. If you're looking for a fun way to get involved, the Lions is a great place to start. From September to June, the group runs weekly bingos on Monday nights at the Town Hall, and holds meetings twice a month, on the first and third Thursdays. For more information, please contact Darby Dunn, the Lions President at darbyldunn@shaw.ca.

Bingo Cancellation - Inclement Weather Policy: If the outdoor temperature reaches minus 25 degrees C or lower, or there is a severe storm - There will be NO Bingo that night.
