  • Shell Scotford

Shell Scotford generously donated $65,000 to fund public safety in Bruderheim. The money purchased much-needed warning lights at the new Fire Hall that will warn traffic and pedestrians when fire trucks are exiting onto Queen Street.

  • 2012 Christmas Hamper Supporters

We would like to thank the following businesses and people who donated to the Christmas Hamper this year. With your help we were able to help 26 families. Bruderheim Town Council and Staff would like to thank Troy Fleming, CAO, for this past year of dedicated service to the Town. We wish him all the best in his new position with the City of Fort Saskatchewan.

  • Remembrance Day Ceremony Supporters

The Town of Bruderheim would like to thank all of the organizations who took part in this very important service: the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, the Bruderheim Moravian Church, the Canadian Military and Master, Corporal Mansville, the RCMP-Fort Saskatchewan, the Fort Saskatchewan Community, Band & Anita Kuzyk, Alanna Gabert, Benjamin Pretty & Stephen King (flag bearers), Mayor Karl Hauch, Councillor Wayne Olechow, Pastor Williams, Sherry Cote/Carolyne Olechow (poems), Bob Cote, Al Klassen, Luanne Taylor and Son, and all the ladies that donated their time by providing the lunch.

  • 2012 Communities in Bloom Volunteers & Supporters

The Town of Bruderheim would like to congratulate Communities in Bloom for their incredible successes this year (4 Blooms in the National Competition!). A big thank you goes out to your committed volunteers: Bob and Sherry Cote, Mary Ellen Boyle, Judy Koschade, Councilor Wayne Olechow, Carolyne Olechow, Kaelli Milliken, Sarah Hauch, Sharron Sinclair, Karl Hauch, Stephanie Olechow, Nadine Stielow, Claire Olechow, Cameron Olechow, Don Driechel, Marie Driechel, John Boyle, and Jacqueline Katan. The Town would also like to thank the Public Works Staff, town clubs and groups, businesses and residents for their efforts in creating a welcoming, vibrant community for Bruderheim. Without the efforts of everyone in this community, we would not have achieved th 4 Bloom recognition.

  • 2012 Talent Show Supporters

The Bruderheim Recreation & Cultural Board would like to thank all the participants of the Bruderheim Has Talent/Comedy Evening. It was a family focused evening of talent and comedy shared by individuals, clubs, groups and small businesses. We would also like to extend a big thank you to those who travelled to Bruderheim to observe a small town event. We sincerely hope you enjoyed the evening and that you will join us next year. Attendees
came from Bruderheim and surrounding area. A special thank you to Margaret Mallet for the door prize donation.

  • Minor Sports Association (BMSA) Supporters

Bruderheim Minor Sports would like to thank all of those who sold and bought tickets for their West Jet raffle in support of raising funds for arena repairs. Jacquie Fenske was the winner of the grand prize of 2 round trip tickets anywhere West Jet flies. Wayne Schoepp was the winner of the iPod Touch. BMSA raised nearly $8000 to go towards the arena repairs.

  • Oct 2012 Bottle Drive Supporters

The Moravian Church Youth Group would like to thank all the residents of Bruderheim for the generous support they received during their recent bottle drive.

  • Night Moves Pub & the Bruderheim Hotel

We would like to thank Night Moves Pub and the Bruderheim Hotel for helping us to keep main street free of cigarette butts by sweeping them up. We ask that you help us also by putting your butts in the receptacles that are provided. If you have any questions or concerns about keeping our town clean, please call the Town Office at 780-796-3731.

  • TWD Technologies (Kevin Kuly, Construction Manager)

TWD is working with Maxim Power on their project northeast of Bruderheim. The company recently made a $1,580 donation to the Town to paint the Administration Office. "TWD is excited to be a part of this project and proud to support the communities in which we work" - Kevin Kuly

Maxim Power has donated $25,000 to Bruderheim Minor Sports Association for making repairs to the Bruderheim Arena. THANKS MAXIM POWER!

The Communities in Bloom (CIB) committee would like to thank all the volunteers who made the 2012 Judging Event a wonderful event. Thanks to all the participants who came out to welcome Judges Lucy Chang and Roger Younker.

The Bruderheim Moravian Church, along with the Town of Bruderheim would like to say a huge "Thank You" to Pastor Jay Petrella and his wife, Erin for their dedication and service to the community over the last few years. We wish you all the best in your new venture in Dublin, Ohio. Safe travels and best of luck!!

The Bruderheim Parent Advisory Council would like to thank Clark Marshall for his dedicated service for the past 5 years as President of the Council and welcome Cynthia Willis as new President. We thank her for her willingness to take on this new responsibility and wish her every success.

Atkinson Construction has donated $750 in support of Bruderheim School Parent Advisory Council.  The School Council's mandate is to work with the school to enhance the educational experience and opportunities of children attending Bruderheim School.

The Town of Bruderheim and surrounding area for their contributions to our bottle drive fundraiser. Together we raised $3000 for our soccer, baseball and hockey programs!!

The Town of Bruderheim would like to thank the Bruderheim Moravian Church for organizing the Bruderheim & Community Hockey Skills Competition on Saturday, March 19th, 2011. This wonderful community event was enjoyed by all! Our thanks once again to the volunteers and organizers for delivering a fun filled afternoon of hockey!

The Town of Bruderheim is pleased to announce that Dow Chemical Canada ULC, Fort Saskatchewan has awarded the Town of Bruderheim $3,000 to upgrade Christmas decorations in 2011 via their Community Grants Program! Thank you for supporting our community!
