Home > Appointment of Bruderheim FCSS Staff

November 2011

With the recent resignation of Bruderheim's Community Services Director, Jodi Brown, the Town of Bruderheim has re-organized its administration. A partnership with Lamont County FCSS will allow the former duties to be split between Judy Love (Town of Bruderheim) and FCSS Lamont County Region, with Leah Johnson appointed as the representative in the Bruderheim FCSS office.

"The plan allows our Town to access trained professionals in the FCSS arena without bearing the cost of training," says Bruderheim Mayor Karl Hauch. "It also allows our town to maintain control and autonomy of the delivery of these services through the input our CSAB board has into the regional system."

Judy Love, former Administrative Assistant, will be looking after recreation programming and act as a liaison with the Community Services Advisory Board (CSAB) and other community groups. This will include overseeing many community events, such as Family Day, Volunteer Day, and Canada Day. "I'm looking forward to working with Sara Rindero (Lamont County FCSS Director) and her staff, and especially with Leah," says Love. "I am also looking forward to working with the Community Services Advisory Board and the community to bring quality programming to the Town so that we may continue to enjoy the success we have in the past."

FCSS Lamont County Region will be overseeing the FCSS programming portions, including:

  • Parents and Tots
  • Gymboree program
  • Senior's Breakfast

Leah Johnson explains that "FCSS Lamont County Region and I are very excited to work with the community of Bruderheim. We have been warmly welcomed by Judy and her fellow town staff. It will be exciting to see the future of FCSS in Bruderheim in this upcoming year."
