Public Hearing - Land Use Bylaw Amendment

 

 

The February 22nd meeting has been changed to February 23rd.


The February 23rd meeting will be preceded by a Public Hearing for the Land Use Bylaw amendments at 8:00p.m. in the Fire Hall - Main Floor.

 

The Land Use Bylaw amendment addresses 3 areas:

 

1) Retail Alcohol Sales outlets - provides a degree of separation between retail alcohol sales businesses from schools, churches, parks, community recreation.

2) Election Signs - outlines guidelines for types of signs and locations as well as specifying when signs must be taken down.

3) Adult Entertainment - broadens definition to include retail sales of sexually explicit materials.
