Building Permits

In addition to meeting the requirements of Bruderheim's Land Use Bylaw, it is the responsibility of the applicant to obtain other approvals or licenses that may be required by other regulatory departments or agencies.

For example, the Town of Bruderheim is an accredited municipality under the Safety Codes Act - this means that building, electrical, gas, or plumbing permits may also be required along with a development permit for major renovations to existing buildings as well as for the construction of new buildings.

While the Town issues all development permits, The Inspections Group  issues all of the required safety codes permits for developments in Town. Applications can be printed from this page (below) or picked up at the Town Office, located at 5017 Queen Street during regular business hours (Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.). To apply or to make general inquiries, visit The Inspections Group website or call them toll free at 1-866-554-5048.
